Landowner company celebrates first anniversary

A LANDOWNER company involved in the catering business has celebrated its first anniversary of operation.
PNG Mining and Hospitality Services Limited executive chairman Peter Heno said the company has achieved a lot in one year.
Heno thanked those who had assisted the company and believed in it. “To be honest, we have achieved a lot more than we could have imagined in just a span of 12 months in operation,” Heno said.
“Our journey started in September 2015 as a dream of all our directors – a dream that many believe unachievable and unobtainable but not by us.
“I’m very proud of the strong faith and belief that we have in ourselves in the first place to have come this far.
“I give thanks to everyone involved in assisting us and believing in us reaching our goal of becoming a respected and successful Papua New Guinea company.”
He said the company would continue to strive to demonstrate its dominance in the support service industry, focusing on a standard that is flexible and a safety-compliance service model.
Chief finance officer Jonathan Corotan said the company was formed by a consortium of landowner companies from Kutubu, Gobe, Gigira and Kikori.
It provides catering services.
