Law firms told to sort out notices of appearance

A COURT has told two law firms representing a businessman charged with the murder of his wife to sort out their notices of appearance.
Waigani Committal Court Magistrate Cosmas Bidar adjourned the matter to October 20 to allow for this.
Felix Kange, 30, from Maia village in Pangia district, Southern Highlands, was charged with the murder of his wife Regina Morove, on May 14 this year at their home at Garden Hills in Port Moresby.
The court heard that Kange is represented by Frederick Lunge from Ninerah Lawyers.
But a notice of appearance was filed by a lawyer from Young and Williams for representation at the committal court as well.
The court was told both firms were representing Kange.
Kange will remain in custody at Bomana and return to court on Oct 20.
Kange was initially charged with manslaughter but this was upgraded to murder following their investigation.
