POLICE in Manus have captured three suspects of a K60,000 supermarket robbery in February, says provincial commander Chief Inspector Kiweri Kesambi.
He said the robbery occurred at the Lorengau Enterprises Ltd owned by a Bangladeshi.
Three suspects, he said, were arrested but others remained at large.
The month-long police operation in Lorengau also netted them a rape suspect, two people suspected of stealing solar panels and batteries from street lights and a suspected burglar at the Dataco office, Kesambi said.
The provincial police chief said the Manus administration funded their operation.
