Mead named Digicom brand ambassador

DIGICOM ambassador David Mead is expected to be in PNG in the next two months to promote Digicom in stores and visit schools and charities as part of his commitment to the brand.
The Digicom phone brand was launched in PNG in Oct 2015 and is now going popular throughout the country and other Pacific countries.
Mead, from Central, is a professional rugby league player who has signed up as Digicom ambassador for 2017.
He is currently playing for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League (NRL).
He previously played for the Gold Coast Titans and also played for PNG in the 2008 and 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
Mead is expected to play again for the PNG Kumuls later this year in the World Cup matches to be held in Port Moresby.
Digicom handsets are sold in stores throughout PNG including FoneHaus and Digicel shops.
They sell phones ranging from the most popular X9 for K49 and the Digicom smartphones are selling at prizes starting from K175.
