NA, partners to camp in Kokopo

National Alliance MPs-elect have started arriving for the camp in Kokopo, with a day remaining before the return of writs tomorrow.
NA president and Namatanai MP-elect Walter Schnaubelt told The National last night that more NA MPs-elect and coalition partners would today have “a huge meeting with the Independent team (led by Sir Mekere Morauta)”.
“After that, we’ll start moving to Kokopo,” he said.
“Our numbers are swelling up and it’s no joke.
“They will all eventually come to Kokopo.
“That includes the Pangu people.”
Schnaubelt said People’s National Congress Party was faring badly in this election and that showed that it was being rejected by the people.
“If that’s not a strong indication of rejection, I don’t know what is,” he said.
“We are also making a strong call on PNC members to join us.
“We are in discussion with several other PNC members as well.
“We are very confident.”
