Nasfund continues to train lending staff

THE Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loans Society Limited is continuing to develop its staff to ensure efficient services are provided through its lending facility.
Two officers from its lending department last week attended a three-day training on lending and securities.
It covered important aspects of the requirements of processing loans successfully and in accordance with policies, acts and correct practising standards.
Lending officer Stanley Sariman who attended the training said he learnt a lot about the basic principles of good lending, how to make sound lending decisions and the basic rules of risks.
“I’ve learnt that lending is the main source of revenue for the banks and other financial institutions,” Sariman said.
“I found the training to be refreshing and definitely filled some missing gaps and unanswered questions in the lending industry.”
Nasfund Contributors Savings and Loans Society Limited human resource manageress Darusilla Musi said it would enable lending officers to fully understand how loan applications were processed and types of assets required as security.
Both officers will be assessed next month for qualifications on lending and security performance skills.
