New rules will drive prices up

Letters

I DO not agree with the new rules for overseas secondhand cars being looked at by the Transport Department.
The rules and legislative requirements will not help ordinary working people.
What the transport department is planning will increase the price of the used motor vehicles.
I suggest we limit the number of motor vehicles that individuals can own.
Most families in Papua New Guinea don’t own a motor vehicle.
Middle-class people like me should be able save up to buy an affordable imported used vehicle.
