NHC needs to clean up corruption

Letters

THE departments of National Planning, Finance and Treasury should listen to the cries of the nation and stop funding National Housing Corporation because the rot (corruption) is set in there too. The much-talked about Durand Farm is a signature of failure that all mature, educated and underprivileged citizens are watching in despair and anger. Why should the government give extra funds to NHC now? Instead, it should clean up the corruption and allocate funds to contractors directly. The NHC is on a defensive mode against all calls and criticism by the public. Prime Minister Peter O’Neill must intervene immediately.
