No jobs for mates, please

Letters

THE 33 Cabinet ministers must not make political appointments and give top jobs to their election-campaign friends and relatives.
All appointments must be done on merit.
Cabinet ministers have a wealth of experience and they must use their wisdom to appoint people who are smart, god-fearing, respectable and experienced.
This must be done in the people’s best interest and in appreciation of the support people have given the government.
There is lobbying going but the ministers and MPs must resist.
