NOVA edged out the Valley Hunters 22-17 in the Capital Rugby Union premier grade match last Saturday.
The round 13 clash proved to be a close contest between the two teams who displayed their defensive grit.
Both played with a similar attacking style with Nova having the better of their chances with ball control.
The Hunters created try-scoring opportunities but where hindered by handling errors.
The team no doubt has the personnel to take the club forward with many young players proving that they can perform in the premier grade.  Nova made the most of their chances using their experience of their forward pack to dominate the battle up for their explosive backline to create point scoring chances.
Nova defence also played a large part in keeping the Hunters in check to come away with a hard fought five-point win.
