People have the power

THE general election has thrown up some shockers with some prominent people losing their seats. That is a lesson that should be learnt: Every five years the people get to make their choice on who they want to represent them in parliament.
The newly elected members of parliament should remember that when they fail to serve their voters they will get dumped at the next general election.
