A FOUNDER of the People’s National Congress Party has commended its performance in its first term of governing the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
Peter Wap, a businessman from Western Highlands but based in Central, said his association with the party began during former prime minister Sir William Skate’s era and was proud to see it prosper with dignity.
“The PNC Party under Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, has delivered effective service delivery mechanisms in terms of infrastructures, employment, free education and improved health services” Wap said.
He said the party still had more to do.
“We must all give the mandate to the party to rule again after 2017 to finish some of its uncompleted tasks,” Wap said
“One would look back at the years after independence and we can almost say the last five years had seen tangible assets attained by the country.
“The current government had up the trend of development placing quality infrastructures and luring investors to do business in the country.”
