Police search for three women suspects

POLICE are looking for three women accused of breaking and entering into a shop and stealing cartons of beer and cash.
Sharon Dama, 41, from Ialibu district in Southern Highlands, Barkley Dama, 48, and Helen Dama, 21, both from Chimbu, allegedly broke into Ata Tommy’s Trade Store at Air Transport Squadron (ATS) settlement in the National Capital District on Oct 9 and stole more than K5000 in cash and beer worth more than K6000.
Sharon and Barkley are married to the same man and Helen is Barkley’s daughter.
Central Committal Court magistrate Ben Kome issued a warrant of arrest last Tuesday after the trio had failed to appear in court twice.
He ordered the matter to return to court on Jan 24.
It was alleged that the trio, in the company of others, went to the trade store on a Sunday and allegedly broke in and allegedly took K5300 in cash, six cartons of SP Lager and four cartons of Kundu beer.
