FOUR employees of PNG Power Limited (PPL) have successfully completed the National Certificate One automotive course at the IT Job Training Centre (ITJTC).
During a certificate presentation in Port Moresby on Friday, the team leader for change management at the PPL Training Centre, David Kila, said the utility company believed in staff training and development.
“We believe in skill development for our staff and in all fronts of our division, we make sure to train our staff to improve their skills and knowledge,” Kila said.
“ITJTC has been one of the training institutions that we have a good working relationship with.
“They have trained most of our staff.”
Kila said the four employees were from the workshop division.
ITJTC managing director Sunny Sun said: “Every institution and organisation has their own spirit and ours is trust.
“We want individuals and organisations to trust in what we do and what can be achieved through commitment.
“Our training is based on quality and is competency-based, and the four underwent the automotive course.”
