Priest: Show professional attitude

Education

A PRIEST visited Don Bosco Technological Institute in Port Moresby last week and urged students to show professional attitude.
“Let professionalism guide you in your undertakings as you live up to the institute’s motto of Competence and Character,” Fr Guillermo Basañes, SDB, and Councillor for the Mission said.
“Don Bosco’s dream is to hone young people to be at their best and ready to serve others who are most in need,” he told them during the morning assembly.
During the daily Eucharist celebration where he presided, he reminded the churchgoers of God’s continuous love to mankind and that all should show the same love to one and another.
Also during the Mass, the head of the institution, Fr  Louie Castañeda, SDB, was officially made as Rector of DBTI.
Fr Giullermo spent two days at DBTI where he graced the community with message of hope and Love before leaving.
He thanked the DBTI community for a warm welcome and the gifts.
The New Ireland and Manus cultural groups welcomed him by presenting him a headdress, garlands made of flowers and shells and traditional decoration.
