Provinces advised to settle bond fees before Games

THE 7th PNG Games host organising committee is calling on all participating provinces to pay up their bond fees for their accommodation during the games from March 18 to April 1 next year.
Nolene Pidik from the HOC secretariat confirmed with The National yesterday that only eight provinces have paid their bond fees for accommodation in the respective schools they have scouted.
These provinces who have already paid their bond fees are Manus, NCD, Central, New Ireland, Morobe, Madang, East New Britain and the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. “All provinces who have yet to pay their bond fees for accommodation must do so before the close of accreditation on the ninth of December.
“The rescheduling of the games now gives a lot of time for each of the provinces to pay up because the HOC won’t move the deadline again,” Pidik said.
Pidik said provinces had pickedtheir accommodation schools already, but had to pay their bond fees to avoid problems with the HOC and the schools.
“We’re working with the schools and they’re looking forward to hosting the teams but the provinces must pay their bond fees.”
