A GROUP of 40 people including a 10-year-old boy completed a walk along the Kokoda Track last week to share the word of God.
The religious group from Kudjip in Jiwaka travelled to Lae, then to Popondetta by dinghy. They then walked to Port Moresby.
Spokesman Aip Kondi said their mission was to carry out outreach around the country.
“We want to bring the good news to all parts of the country. So some parents and leaders are supporting the students in making this spiritual move bigger,” Kondi said.
He said they felt that God was with them during their trip and outreach programmes.
Group member Annie Digan said they had carried out their work in Mamose and Highlands.
She said people must change and the country must change.
Digan said they were planning to visit Parliament to see the Bible brought from the United States.
She said it took them five days to walk the Kokoda Trek.
“The locals were good to us and we are very happy.”
