Ribat’s appointment a blessing

Letters

I AM  very happy to read about Sir John Rabat’s elevation from archbishop to cardinal. I personally thank God Almighty for selecting a Papua New Guinean, or at least someone in the Oceania Pacific Region to have a say when it comes to elect  a Pope to oversee The Holy See. I really feel blessed not because I’m a Catholic or Lutheran but as a Christian. We should all be happy and continue to pray for all our priests, bishops, pastors and evangelists for them to continue to uphold their vocation. Regardless of whatever denomination, we must continue to pray for them to be strong in what they are already doing. The bottom line is, it is our faith with God that will allow us to enter the Kingdom not the churches. God bless.
