Schools should promote their colours

Letters

IT is now becoming a common practice for major businesses to paint school properties in their organisations’ colours.
In the Port Moresby South electorate the member is also doing the same with his workers going to the extent of trying to remain a building in his name in one school.
Is this good?
The colours do not match the schools’ colours.
Why can’t they retain the schools’ original colours and just acknowledge their assistance.
The individuals and organisations doing this should be more concern about their community obligations rather than self-publicity.
