Secondary school gets new library

STUDENTS at the Gordon Secondary School in Port Moresby can now enjoy a new-look library thanks to Bank South Pacific Capital and AkzoNobel.
BSP Capital, an investment arm of BSP, renovated the library.
Taubmans Paint under AkzoNobel provided paint for the renovation.
Gordon Secondary School principal George Kenega said they were one of the premier secondary schools in the city.
“Our facilities are aging but we have the best here and the library will be of great use,” Kenega said.
Kenega thanked the two companies for helping Gordon Secondary.
BSP Capital Manager Funds Willie Konga said community projects were undertaken nationwide by branches and business units.
He said the community project focused on education, health, sports, environment and other community initiatives.
AkzoNobel managing director Mikael Ruben said AkzoNobel and Taubmans believed in a more colorful world full of energy and inspiration.
