“Everyone must be commended for a job well done,” he said.
Asi also called on the people of Central to respect the
counting process and not to interfere with it.
He said that all districts in the province had started counting which was progressing well without any major incidents or disturbances.
“All the counting venues are well-secured and security personnel are on full alert in case any situation arises,” Asi said.
“I am very confident that my men on the ground will be able to deal with any situation that may arise in the process of the counting.”
He  said the elections were very quiet for the province.
Asi said he was confident this would be the same during counting and when declarations were made.
