SONY has appointed musician Jay Lieasi as its brand ambassador in the country.
Lieasi said he was proud to represent his country as Sony’s first brand ambassador as a lot of people loved music.
“What I love about my country is that a lot of people value the culture and tradition of having family relations,” he said.
“We do not need anything else to be happy.
“We just need a home and a family and we are the happiest people in the world.”
The CHM group of companies launched the Sony Extra Bass products at the Vision City Mega Mall in Port Moresby last Saturday.
The products range from small wireless/Bluetooth speakers to very big speakers, headphones and earpiece.
CHM retail manager Aaron Chin said Sony products had been in the country for more than 10 years.
They did the first launch of the product last year.
Chin said the Extra Bass Products could be bought at any CHM retail outlets.
According to CHM’s website, it is the distributor and agent of leading brands including Panasonic, Sony, Beko, Akira and many more.
Most of CHM’s brands are available at authorised resellers throughout the country in the Highlands, Islands, Mamose and Southern regions of the country.
