Still waiting for certificates

GRADE 8 students from Wardstrip Demonstration Primary School, in Port Moresby, are still waiting for their certificates after graduating on Nov 30 this year.
During the graduation, the students were given only attainment certificates and advised that the certificates would be ready by Dec 7.
Fronting up at the school on the said date, the parents, however, were told to return on Dec 12.
On Dec 12, the parents were again told by the principal to check on Monday Dec 18, saying the certificates were yet to be received from the Education Department.
Even worse, the parents were advised to go to the Education Department themselves to check if the certificates were ready.
What is the problem? Is Wardstrip Demonstration Primary School the only school that is yet to receive the grade 8 certificates?
Can anyone responsible for grade 8 certificates for Wardstrip Demonstration Primary School please tell the parents what is happening?
