Interesting comments from the managing director of the National Housing Corporation in your paper last Friday. I wonder if the accident involving the hire car driven by the MD over the weekend along the Sogeri Road has anything to do with any statements. Will NHC now pay for the hire car damaged during the accident? Wonder if the list of people sacked included the relatives of staff handpicked from the streets to head the Goroka and Lae operation. How can the MD justify the early campaign operation being run by the handpicked provincial management team using vehicles hired by NHC? What happened to the thousands of kina made from sale of NHC assets that never reached the NHC account? No wonder the handpicked relatives are now running around in brand new cars with hire cars parked at their residence. People are watching, so good luck.
