Trukai gives workers long service awards

TRUKAI Industries has recognised 14 for their long services with the company.
One of them, Philip Nasusu, 54, is from But village, Dagua in East Sepik. He is married to Carolynn and has seven children.
Nasusu told The National that he started his career with the Commonwealth Bank in 1973 (later known as PNG Banking Corporation).
He joined Trukai Industries’ finance department on June 21, 1986. He received the long-service award for his tireless effort in contributing to the development of the company.
He said Trukai had helped him in many things.
“I am happy to work with Trukai, although we have encountered many challenges, but the company still pushes on to provide employment for Papua New Guineans,” he said.
Nasusu said life in town was hard.
He encouraged his colleagues to be faithful to their jobs.
