KAINANTU MP and Mining Minister Johnson Tuke wants to implement simple strategies to develop basic infrastructure for the people of Kainantu in Eastern Highlands.
“We will concentrate on simple but fundamentally important infrastructures to open up accessibilities through roads and bridges, do rural electrifications and other important projects as captured in our five-year working plan,” he said.
Tuke made these known at the swearing-in of three new members of Kainantu district development authority (DDA) and first DDA meeting after the election and formation of the new government.
He said Kainantu would continue from where it stopped for the election as he had retained the seat for the second consecutive term.
