WITNESS

Somewhere underneath all this grass and weeds is the sign for the PNG National Library and Archives in Port Moresby. Heavy rains recently has seen the nation’s capital turn ‘green’. And as much as city residents are loving the weather, authorities should keep tabs on the plants and ‘flower signs’ such as this one (and the NCD City Hall sign Eye Witness ran recently) around the city to make sure they don’t get out of control. For a historic place such as the National Library and Archives, we hope this gets taken care of and is restored to its original state.
