Woman used knife to attack another woman, court told

A WOMAN at Manus charged with wounding is expected to appear in court soon.
Police this week arrested Rose Wowou, 29, of Mundrupudeu village in Kari and charged her with wounding a Martha Wohiu on June 20 at Ward Seven in Lorengau town.
Provincial police commander Chief Inspector David Yapu said Wowou allegedly used a knife to injure Wohiu who was treated at the Lorengau General Hospital.
She was released on a K500 police bail to await her appearance at the Lorengau District Court.
In another case, Oliver Kamau, 20 of Andra Island, was charged with armed robbery after allegedly holding up James Waka with a knife and stealing  K6570 from him.
The incident occurred on August 21 at the Pere Camp Ward One in Lorengau town.
