Yallon gives back to local Enga league

ENGA Mioks captain Rex Yallon is sharing his rugby league experience with youth in his community at  Laekemanda, Wabag.
After completion of the Digicel Cup season in September Yallon, who made the PNG Hunters 2016 squad but had to pull out becuase of work committments, set some time aside from his work to teach and encourage rural players about the skills and mind set needed to be a good footballer.
The 23-year-old back-rower led the Mioks to the playoffs culminating in their 20-6 loss to the Agmark Gurias in the minor semifinal at the Sir John Guise Stadium.
Yallon playsg for the Prum Panthers in the local offseason competition called the Lower Ambum Immanuel Pundari Cup.
Yallon, a surveyor, has played at the Digicel Cup level for the last three years but giving back to his local league is the priority.
“I make time for rural players, to train them and give some insight into rugby league,” Yallon said.
