WALLABIES assistant coach Andrew Blades says the Pukpuks can only become better with the experience of their Australian tour.

Blades made the comment on arrival in the country last Thursday. He was here as speaker at a Club Pukpuk luncheon on Friday.

The Wallabies forwards coach said he was grateful for the invitation to visit and coming to PNG was a privilege.

“It is all about developing relationships with the Australian Rugby Union.” PNGRFU general manager Simon Kerr said.

Blades will today work with the Monier Pukpuks on the Gold Coast during their trial match against the Australian Under-20 squad.

The Pukpuks are on the Gold Coast undergoing high performance training with the Australian Rugby Union.
