‘Worth’ dressing Taraka’s rugby team

VIKING Dogs rugby club from East Taraka in Lae recently received a full set of new team uniforms from sponsor DuluxGroup (PNG) Pty Ltd.

The team, made up of mostly youths from the suburb and students from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, is one of the six clubs in Morobe rugby that have managed to secure sponsorship.

This will be the fourth year running the company has sponsored the club.

General manager for Dulux Group, Papua New Guinea, Andrew Gunn presented the set of jerseys to the clubs management and players at the company head office in Lae.

He said the company was pleased to be sponsoring the club again this year and looked forward to doing so in the next three years.

The club management expressed their gratitude to the DuluxGroup for the continued support for Viking Dogs and code in Lae.
