200 soldiers in border

PNG Defence Force Commander Major Gen Gilbert Toropo says he has deployed 200 soldiers to the Papua New Guinea-Indonesia border in response to the situation in West Papua.
“We have troops present at north and south borders which covers 100 soldiers sent to Vanimo and another 100 to Kiunga to monitor our border,” Toropo said.
