I HEARD Maria Hayes talking on the NBC last Thursday morning about the 22 reserved seats.
One thing I did not agree with was her idea of  women forming a bloc to push for agenda put forward by women.
I support the 22 seats for women because they want to be seen as partners in development.
I want to see men and women working together for the benefit of everyone.
For them to start talking about forming a political bloc is going away from the spirit of cooperation.
However, on a positive note, these women should automatically become deputy governors unless appointed as minister by the government
There should be a sunset clause of 20 years by which time women should be ready to compete with the men at all levels.
