30 complete training

Education

A TOTAL of 30 entrepreneurs in East New Britain have completed the recently held micro-to-small entrepreneurial training in Kokopo.
The training encompassed the practical aspects of business entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and personal development through modules on becoming an entrepreneur, setting strong entrepreneurial foundations, growing the enterprise and a bonus module on developing a winning business mindset.
On hand to address the participants at the closing ceremony was East New Britain deputy governor Cosmas Bauk who commended the training facilitators for the initiative.
Bauk said it was important that people were empowered through such trainings so they contribute equally to the growth of the local economy of the province through business innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship.
He urged the participants to cultivate a business mindset, be disciplined and to find their business niche in order to be competitive.
