A  SEA of pink decorated the Lae Yacht Club yesterday as 350 women shared lunch to commemorate Breast Cancer Day.

The ‘Pink Ribbon’ luncheon, hosted by the Lioness Club of Lae, attracted women from 36 companies in the city.

They listened to speakers from non-government organisations like Mobile Clinics, Susu Mamas, Marie Stopes, Salvation Army and Well Women Clinic, club president Karen Quinn said.

The annual event enabled women to mix and share their experiences and come up with ways to help each other, Quinn said.

She said this was the fifth year for the Lioness Club to stage the event to educate women on breast cancer issues.
