A TOTAL of 36 employees of the National Broadcasting Corporation graduated from the NBC leaders programme under the Media Development Initiative (MDI) last Friday.
Participants, who were chosen from all NBC divisions, graduated with internationally recognised diplomas in management.
The MDI is a partnership between NBC and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation supported by AusAID.
The NBC enrolled in the programme because it wanted to provide a better service for the people.
Programme team leader Chris Greene, said it would strengthen the NBC’s operational capacity.
NBC managing director Joseph Ealedona noted that there had been tangible improvements made since the MDI started.
Mr Ealedona said NBC was doing its best for positive change and this was already happening by equipping its leaders.
