6 years too long for degree

UNIVERSITY of Goroka’s (UOG) plan for a 5 to 6 year degree programme is a slap in the face for parents who have been sweating their guts off to raise K10 in a single day. If what is taught in UOG is too much for four years, the administration should find alternative ways to slot in all the curriculum. If a student spends six years in University of PNG and is awarded honours, what is the use of spending the same amount of time in UOG for only a degree? From a student’s perspective, studying for six years to get a degree is a waste of time.Try other ways that do not  require 6 years.
