A Brrr send off for Unitech Reds

LEADING soft drink giant in Papua New Guinea, Coca-Cola Amatil (PNG) has come in to assist the Unitech Reds rugby union club’s campaign at the Black Orchids Buka 7s and the Kimbe 7s tournaments by donating shirts, drinking bottles and five cartons of drinks for the event.
The event will start from next Saturday and continue till Feb 13.
The donation will boost the Reds’ morale after bowing out of the Cup semi- finals in the recent Mama’s Cordial Trans Highway 7s tournament in Lae.
Revenge and determination are on the cards for the Morobe boys as they beef up their line-up with the inclusion of former Pukpuk Aiem Pilokos to lead their charges.
Pilokos will be backed up by trusty Joseph Wamapiri and Reds loyals Chris and Monford Kehatsin.
The inclusion of Port Moresby-based Dominic Livuana and Adeck Naio further strengthen the pack as they pave the way for unknowns, Kevin Wail, Sael Pennington, Isaac Chandrol and Theo Kens to follow.
The Reds outfit will go in as one of the underdogs, while all eyes will be on recent Trans Highway champions Madang and the  inform team, Kimbe Rebels.
The Unitech Reds 7s side acknowledged Bridgestone Tyres and the Lae Biscuit Company for their assistance and donations towards these two major tournaments.
