A letdown by Madang government

Letters, Normal

I AM a school leaver and there is no job opportunity back in the village except to grow cocoa.
One of the routines I see every morning without fail at the Madang provincial administration car park is public servants push-start the old run-down vehicles.
The state of these run-down vehicles is almost similar to the MPs, governor, administrator, directors and advisers we have in the provincial government.
No wonder services are not reaching us, the struggling rural people.
The roads in Madang town are full of potholes and the rural roads are a nightmare.
Don’t tell me our MPs, governor, administrator and senior public servants do not see all these things?
The Madang provincial administration is so poorly managed that it cannot even afford to buy a stand-by generator.
This shows is a clear indication of incompetent political and administrative leadership.
Please let us see some changes.
