Abel happy with K1.2m budget

MILNE Bay deputy governor Tom Cameron has presented his Kiriwina-Goodenough local level government budget of K1.2 million to Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer Charles Abel.
Abel said he was happy.
“I’ll pass it to my Secretary Dairi Vele and the Department will go through the budget detail. But I’m happy for an isolated electorate LLG to present the budget on time. Once they cleared it, funds will be released.”
Abel said most LLG presidents around the country had presented their budgets.
Cameron said the budget was also for the Goodnight LLG.
“I have presented their budget because their president resigned to contest the 2017 national election and lost. So now they don’t have a president.”
