Abusing of power

Letters

I AM disgusted at what Kainantu policemen are doing on a daily basis.
Do they have other policing tasks as per their schedule or are they operating without a head?
They set up check points along the highway and chase vehicles within the town and charge drivers on minor faults which a warning could be issued.
Do not tell me that it is their normal job.
All policemen in the country are living off this means and Kainantu police is no exception.
When they do not have money for their daily needs, they set up check points.
This is a disgrace as is a daylight robbery from these lazy policemen.
The police minister and commissioner should clarify whether what the Kainantu policemen are doing is legal.
People are now educated and know very well the traffic rules.
The Government is preaching about stimulating small to medium enterprises (SME) sector but policemen are not doing anything to help small business people.
They are feeding off from these SMEs.
The police minister should step in to address this issue.
To Kainantu police, we know what you are doing is illegal.
Just because you have the uniform does not give you the right to set up illegal check points.
You should be ashamed of yourselves as lazy bunch of public servants.
Start living an honest life and raising your family through honest earning.

Chapsen Hancos,
Kainantu District
