A VISITING university academic has urged university graduates to remain connected to their traditions and beliefs but also push boundaries towards a prosperous future.
Prof Toni Downs of Charles Sturt University in Australia said this when addressing graduating students at Balob Teachers College on Monday.
Seventeen lecturers from the college graduated with masters degrees in education from the Charles Sturt University under a partnership arrangement with Balob and the Lutheran University of PNG.
Downs said the challenge for graduates as they progress their careers into the future was to remain connected to their traditions, customs, values and beliefs.
