Address alcohol, marijuana abuses

Marijuana and homebrew are sold openly in public areas.
The police drug squad needs to do something.
I sometimes observe men, women and even children buying and consuming marijuana and homebrew in the presence of police officers.
It is very shameful to see such lack of action by the law enforcers.
Toughen the laws on drug and homebrew abuse so that people can spend years in prison without bail.
Mental illnesses are on the rise everywhere in PNG.
The Government should, by now, seriously look into that and allocate at least K1mil of district service improvement programme and provincial service improvement programme funds to the appropriate bodies to fight this evil.
If the Government does not look into that quickly, in the next five years these beautiful towns of ours will be run by the marijuana and homebrew abusers.
Please Marape-led Government, help save this nation by providing funds to address these issues and rescue people.
