Address issues in North Waghi

Letters

BECOMING a leader is to become a servant of the people.
A leader’s role is to serve in both good and bad times.
People are crying out for lack of services such as better roads, health and education.
If people are calling for services, it means the elected leader is not playing his or her part.
Roads, bridges, water supply, infrastructure developments, health and education are key areas of development.
Some MPs turn a blind eye on these, which is why people are still struggling.
I call on North Waghi MP Dr Fabian Pok to focus on the people that trusted and voted him. You should know that whatever belongs to the people must be returned to them.
That is the only way they can continue to trust in your leadership.
Law and order problems are becoming a growing concern in the district.
That is because the leadership is not available to address issues on the ground.
People will participate meaningfully in change only if the leadership is at work.
A community will remain peaceful and law and order issues can be controlled when people see a good leader taking the lead.
