Address issues with teachers’ pay

Letters

THE 2019 yearly Consumer Price Index (CPI) entitlement for teachers stopped in pay 14 this year.
Is anything being done for the 2020 CPI?
There’s a lot of cover-up and blame between the Teaching Service Commission, Education Department, and PNG Teachers’ Association concerning discrepancies in teachers’ salaries.
Teachers are fed up and don’t know who to trust these days.
The system is supposed to be caring for teachers and address problems effectively but it is not really doing so.
Someone has to come out and tell teachers when the 2020 CPI entitlements will be paid out.
This year is almost over and it is unacceptable to see teachers missing out on their rightful payments.
