It all adds up for Oil Search staff

Youth & Careers

TWO employees of Oil Search have qualified to become Certified Practising Accountants – thanks to the support of the company and Oil Search Foundation.
They are Thomas Vutun and Benedict Wora.
Vutun, who began his career with the foundation in 2012 as an assistant accountant, described his journey with the organisation as exciting and very rewarding.
“I always wanted to work with the Oil Search Limited family. It was a dream I had since my university days. When the opportunity came to join OSF, I gladly accepted,” Vutun said.
Wora, who started with the foundation in 2013, said working with the two organisations helped his professional development.
“The environment is the best – it’s welcoming, relaxing and fun,” Wora said.
Vutun said Oil Search’s focus on people development was a great investment, helping employees to be more productive and competitive.
Wora said it was a challenge to balance work and studies but setting priorities and good time management enabled him to achieve his goal.
“I am more confident that the knowledge and qualification I’ve gained will add value to the work of OSF and the Finance team.”
Vutun and Wora encouraged employees to take advantage of learning and development opportunities at Oil Search.
