Administrator sidelined from duties

 SOUTHERN Highlands deputy provincial administrator Jerry David has been sidelined, former Tepe-Eskembe councillor David Muri says. 

Muri said it had shocked the people of Lower Mendi LLG as everyone was mourning the death of David’s brother.

He said David was a young leader who had sacrificed his time to carry out his duties and his sidelining for alleged absenteeism indicated that there was no co-operation in the provincial administration.

“On behalf of the people of Lower Mendi, I call on the acting administrator Ungia Kembo to say sorry to David and reinstate him as soon as possible,” Muri said.

“Your decision is irrelevant and does not comply with the general orders and public servants management act.”
