GULF provincial administrator Marc O Avai wants to see the three newly-elected Gulf MPs working together for the people.
Avai said the people needed undivided leadership from the politicians to serve their interests.
He said public servants were ready to work with the three MPs in the next five years with a strong foundation with an already established provincial corporate and development in place.
“I have been in office for 16 months with my two deputies,” he said.
“We have stabilised the administration and put it in order, and it is our strongest desire to see a more stable government in office in the next five years.
“Let me assure the members that my administration is ready to serve you as best as we can.
“There have been public and political concerns about unproductive and lazy public servants.
“Let me assure you that those officers will have no place in the administration before the end of this year,” he said.
Acting provincial steering committee and deputy provincial administrator corporate service Emanuel Xavier said the elections were peaceful in the province and thanked polling officials, security officers and public servants for making it a success.
