The leadership programme will start in Detroit, Michigan, Washington DC.
This project for young Pacific leaders will introduce participants to current social, political, and economic issues in the US and will focus on economic and social development, in support of entrepreneurship, and workforce development across the region.
Participants will examine ways to foster local business opportunities as well as how to take advantage of new technology to generate employment opportunities and also examine social enterprise as a model for business and social development.
Aka is the current youth integrity programme coordinator with Transparency International PNG and served on the organisation’s board of directors from 2016 to 2018.
