Agarobe backs team for 2020

THE Central government has committed K100,000 to PNG Games champions Team Central to prepare for Mendi in 2020.
“The 2017 PNG games in Kimbe is a highlight of this year’s achievements. Team Central won the PNG Games Cup and is history in the making,” Central Governor Robert Agarobe said.
“This government acknowledges the power of God and thank the almighty for his hand in our victory.
“I congratulate Team Central for your outstanding performance in doing us proud and thank all our sponsors and supporters for standing behind Team Central.”
Agarobe said Team Central was not at full strength.
“Because we couldn’t afford financially, we cut our team in half but we sent out a smart team,” he said. We showed that we are heading in the right direction.”
Goilala MP William Samb said his district would be allocating K50,000 for Team Central.
“We won the 7th PNG games. We must set history by going to Mendi and bring the trophy back to Central. Seed capital is already in.”
